Pantri

Pantri support

Pantri tracks what's in your fridge, tells you what's about to go, and turns it into a recipe — with the AI running entirely on your device. This page is here to answer questions and to point you at the legal documents.

Requirements

Pantri needs iOS 26.4 or later. Recipe generation uses Apple Intelligence and runs on device, so it needs a device that supports it; everything else — tracking, expiry alerts, barcode and receipt scanning, the shopping list, and the savings dashboard — works on any supported iPhone.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your device, and in your own private iCloud account if iCloud is switched on. We have no server holding your food, your photos, or your recipes, and no account to sign up for. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Do my recipes get sent anywhere?
No. Recipes are generated by Apple's on-device model. Your pantry contents and preferences form the prompt, and that prompt never leaves the phone.
Why aren't my expiry notifications arriving?
Check Settings → Notifications → Pantri and make sure alerts are allowed. Pantri schedules a heads-up a few days before an item is due and a last call on the morning it expires; when you're tracking a lot of food, the items furthest out are grouped into a single daily summary instead of one alert each.
What does Pantri Pro include?
Unlimited pantry tracking (the free tier holds 15 items) and unlimited AI recipe generation (free users get three a month). It's billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID, and both plans start with a 7-day free trial.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Pantri. Cancelling there stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid already — how do I get Pro back on a new phone?
Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it on.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Deleting the app removes the local data; to clear the synced copy, turn Pantri off in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage. There's nothing on our side to delete.
